What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a holistic system of natural health care that uses muscle monitoring to communicate directly with the body. It can assess a person's response to any stimulus and also establish connections between imbalances, put them in order of priority, and determine the most effective treatment.
How does it work?
The kinesiologist applies pressure to a contracted muscle and the client is asked to match or resist that pressure. The kinesiologist evaluates the functioning of the muscle in response to a specific stimulus. The response of the muscle, whether it is able to remain in contraction or unlocks, gives feedback. This is used to determine what the priority stresses are and the best way to address them.
What can it help?
Every health problem will have at least one imbalance - either chemical, mental, physical, and energetic. Kinesiology can help a range of conditions such as acute exhaustion, stress, headaches, anxiety, depression, neck or back pain, eczema, PMS, endometriosis or menopausal problems, arthritis, digestive disorders, allergies, and insomnia, to name but a few.
How many visits?
The severity and the duration of the problem are important factors and the solution usually requires your participation in your treatment, i.e. lifestyle or diet. But usually, most people will see an improvement in three to six visits.
